This course is designed to increase your foundational knowledge of medical-legal principles, nursing assessment, and forensic competencies that govern forensic healthcare practice. The goal of this course is to provide healthcare professionals, (specifically forensic nurses who have completed Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Training, Pediatric Sexual Abuse Forensic Examiner Training, and/or Domestic Violence/Strangulation Training) with an overview in preparation for sitting for the Forensic Nursing Certification Board exam.
