C. Nikol Hamilton, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, LNC, FCN

C. Nikol Hamilton is a nurse innovator, entrepreneur, and leader in forensic maternal mental health care. As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Nourish Psychiatry, she provides holistic healing for teens and women facing mental health struggles, medical-legal injustices, and offers spiritual care counseling. With over 24 years of nursing experience, she operates an integrative clinic in rural Arkansas supporting survivors of violence through harm reduction strategies and trauma-informed care to optimize stress resiliency.

Her expertise extends to unique survivorship care modalities. Nikol offers T.R.E.A.T. (True Revelation Equine Assisted Therapy) sessions as owner and certified clinician at Cowgirl Heiress Therapy Center. This unique approach combines the healing power of human-animal interaction with evidence-based psychotherapy techniques for trauma recovery and mindfulness training. Also, her flagship Justice Rx program exemplifies her commitment to forensic nursing evidenced by 19 years of experience as a legal nurse consultant. She provides victim-centered support through court preparation, accompaniment, and facilitation of family violence mediation. Utilizing restorative justice circles, she addresses traumatic events and promotes healing, often leveraging remote technologies to ensure accessibility. As a faculty member at the University of Arkansas, she mentors future nurses by teaching courses in psychiatric nursing, health policy, and population health as a passionate scholar for nursing professional development and digital innovations in nursing care delivery.

Enduring Modules - This module originated on 03/12/2025 and will remain available for CE credit through 04/01/2027


Criteria for Successful Completion:

Live attendees must join the Zoom link via the LMS site, be logged in for a minimum of 90% of the session, and successfully complete the attestation and evaluation. Upon completion, a CE certificate for 1.25 contact hours will be awarded. 

Recordings of the live session will be made available within one week of the live date. 

Asynchronous attendees must utilize the LMS to obtain resource information (if available), view 100% of recording(s), complete all modules, and successfully complete the attestation and evaluation. Upon completion, a CE certificate for 1.25 contact hours will be awarded.
